Hello group, This is your professional Chemist, Charles Harrison, Ph. D.,
and I am here to say DANGER! Permanent Eye Damage from commercial HCL
(Muratic Acid).
Also, If you have had a tank involved with a salt water for long,
water with a high pH dissolves (etches) glass. The haze you see is
now a part of the glass, microscopic holes in it. There may be
nothing to "take off"
BE CAREFUL - - There has got to be a better way! How about steel
wool. type 00 or 000.
Back to change some more water
