Cyprinodon veronicae
Hello all,
I searched the achieve and the last tread on this fish dated back in 1998.
Mostly the tread was about their status in the wild which is "Extinct". I'm
getting 2 pairs of this fish. They should arrive tomorrow. Can anyone with
experience on the Cyprinodon veronicae share your experience with me? What
do you feed them? How do you breed them? Bottom mop? How long is the
incubation period? Just about anything you know about this fish. I don't
have any experience with pupfish before, hope you will help shed some light.
I would assume that a species with this status should be a part of CITES,
no? What is their status in captivity, right now? Since, they are all from
"Nuevo Leon" region anyway. Can I, in the future, distribute my fish as
Cyprinodon veronicae "Nuevo Leon"? I think it is easier for the person to
do some reserch with the fish with the location code attached. Or will I
creates confusion?
Thank you in advance,
Nonn Panitvong
