The best substitutes, in my opinion, include freeze dried cyclops 
(Cyclop-eeze) and flash frozen cyclops both from Argent Labs. Paste foods as 
I described recently also are good foods for all but the very smallest sizes 
of lineatus. They will eat anything that looks, smells or acts in an 
appetizing way. Chopped up tubifex also works for 1/2 inch or larger fish.
