I suspect Hex too. I use a generic metranozidole (spelling???) Any 
pharmacists on the list? Any way, it is one of the ingredients of 
Tetra Medica. YOu can buy it as a cure for "crop canker" from a 
pet shop dealing to pigeon keepers. If not, it is the same drug used 
to treat yeast infections, the name here is Flagyl. A dose of 5 g /l 
repeated 3x 3 days apart after a good size water change. 
Treatment with a broad antibiotic migth also be a good idea.
