I'm not a Notho keeper Brian so please excuse my ignorance. I did keep U8
kirki & U5 kuhntae (think these were the correct codes) when they were in
the UK many years ago.
N.furzeri seems to have lost it's U2 assignment over the years (at least I
haven't seen it in the UK sold as such) whereas the GH2 has kept it.
I would presume other collections of furzeri have been introduced into the
hobby. Without the U2 assignment they would have been mixed over the years.
I'm sure the line is still going with people such as yourself. For captive
bred fish to have survived for 32 years I'm curious to know if you have out
crossed with other pure U2's from another source or have kept a gene pool
large enough to avoid degredation.
