keeping daphnia and moina alive over winter (i.e. indoors)

Hey,

I have some daphnia colonies that are going well now outdoors, but the
weather will be turning icy soon, so I'll need to move some of them inside.
Also, I've recently gotten some moina cultures from Mach, but they seem to
have crapped out already. I was wondering how people keep these cultures
going indoors.

I've been thinking of using some compact fluorescents to set up a very
bright 24 hour light box in which to keep some cultures, since the brewer's
yeast and spirulinea hasn't worked on the moina (over fed one and the
others still go from cloudy to clear in a few hours, but I can't spot any
beasties.) Any thoughts?
