<S>  I remember dumping a male gardneri (GAR) in with my tank of Rift Lake cichlids.  These we medium sized cichlids but still a bit on the aggresive side.  I was concerned about the GAR but I needed to juggle tanks around.  So I was standing by for a few moments after I dropped him in just in case I had to recue him.

Well, as it turns out, he went on the hunt for those poor cichlids.  I had to yank him out before he killed THEM.  So some kilies can take care of themselves. <G>
