It's the health food store variety, but it appears that these are for
imperialist daphnia rather than freedom loving daphnia :-).
I'm a little confused, because I thought I'd gotten the recipe from you,
and as I recall there was a mention of avoiding the live yeast. Well, I
guess that's my fertile imagination running away again. Watch out Wright,
since it seems to be attributing you as a source! Well, it's worked well
for me, but I haven't used it heavily. I mostly rely on putting plant
fertilizer in my outdoor tubs to keep the algal bloom going. I think
that's really why the daphnia are doing well. I'm not sure what I'll do
when winter gets here. Move subcultures into a window I guess.
I do know I managed to kill off one of my brand new moina subcultures with
the stuff, so watch it (the other two seem to be doing well).
