Well, I put about 2 tbsp of brewer's yeast and 2 of spirulina in 2 cups of
water, blend furiously and then I just add drops of this to my 13G cultures
to make them cloudy.  I also fertilize with house plant fertilizer and have
composted cow manure in the bottom.  I get very rich cultures this way (as
in many daphnia), but I think it's mostly luck.
