New to Killies
I am interested in keeping Fundulopanchax and was wondering if anyone
can point me to a good source to help me set up my water correctly. I
live in Round Rock Texas and the water here is very alkaline. I need to
know how to keep it at the right Ph and hardness and do it cheaply. I
had a couple of Fundulopanchax Gardneri and was not successful in
keeping them for more than a couple of months. I kept the water changed
on a regular basis, java moss and java fern, but to no avail. I have
been able to glean a little info here and there, but not enough soon
enough . However they left me a legacy - one little fry of undetermined
sex! I want this little cutie to grow up in my care. The shop I
originally bought the parents from did not have a resident expert, and
only a couple of books in German. Is there a club around here anywhere?
