It is the reflective beads added to paints to make road signs and stripes
glow in your headlights. It's called glass beads. ;-) Bum some from your
local highway dept.

I gave up on it when a pair of beautiful and rare Cynolebias died from
eating it. I guess they thought it looked like eggs or something. Never
again with fish I like. Peat's just too safe and easy.
