How old are the blue gularis. This species is one that takes a while to 
mature. Typically 1 yr. to a 1.5 yr. If they aren't old enough then they 
won't spawn. If the female isn't ready or willing to spawn with your male she 
isn't going to. You didn't mention if you had any other gularis but you could 
try changing to a different male or add more females. Just keep at it, you'll 
get them to spawn yet.
