Roster tip was Re: members area
My appologies to those who were experiencing trouble with the roster PDF files. I be more dilligent in the future to make sure I set the optimization properly.
Also, most folks browsers are set up to load PDF pages directly in your browser, just like a regular web page. You will notice that only difference is that the Acrobat tool bar appears and you view and search the PDF with the Acrobat buttons. You can also copy the roster to your local hard drive if you'd like to view it while you're off-line. Then you can open it with the Acrobat Reader any time you want without having to connect to the web site.
Here's how. Instead of clicking on the link with the left mouse button, use the right mouse button. A small pop-up menu will appear. Select "Save Target As," which produces the standard "Save As" dialog box. Select the location where you want to save the file and click on the "Save" button. Now you can open the PDF using Acrobat or the Acrobat Reader any time you need to look up a name, even when you are off-line.
The rosters are updated monthly so you should repeat the procedure to make sure you have a current copy. Follow the same instructions and click on the "Yes" button when the system asks you if you want to overwrite the original file.
