No reason why you have to join AKA to do that. My comments were that using
the killitrader list leaves this list a bit freer to do what is intended
here by the list founder(s). That is to discuss husbandry and AKA affairs.
You can use killies@mejac... and who knows how many others to trade, also.
Usenet has all the rec.aquaria groups, too.

I feel we all benefit from AKA supporting and providing this list, the web
pages, and many useful killy publications. We should feel some small
obligation to support that, if the hobby AKA makes possible is of value to
us. The extent of our support must be tailored to our means, of course. It
should also be heavily dependent on our perceptions that the programs are a
good thing for the hobby, for the fish, for us, or for society in general.

Meanwhile, I hope you get the killies you want, and enjoy what they bring to
