RE: Water conditions for BBS hatchers

Thanks Monty

This destroys one of my home made fishroom myths.

                     I visually observe the shrimp

I always thought that if the BBS came to the top, quite a while after they
have hatched about 6 hours or so and if they sank, they where only freshly
hatched. A couple of hours old. I might have to keep notes for a couple of
weeks and get my salt mix right, I find it a lot easier and cleaner to
harvest the BBS when they come to the top.

Has anyone tried using yard glass for hatching BBS?
