Hi,
I assume you're talking about old style galvanized iron pipes? The ones
in my house are from 1946 (they're going this autumn), and while they
make water changes real slow, I have had no problem with my fish. Never
have lived in a house with new pipes. I'll probably face copper
poisoning in a few weeks.
