Everett,  Rivulus females have an eye spot.  A dark spot usually on their back or near the top of the tail.  They are very plain.  Males are almost as plain, but will not have this eye spot.  Unfortunately, I can't remember what Punctatus should look like, but I would imagine that the male would have a more rectangular caudal fin and the female a rounded caudal. If you buy these, be advised that they will jump at least 6 inches vertical.  Many Rivulus dislike water and prefer to lay on top of  or hidden in wet leaves.

Hello all KillieTalk members,
  Today the Rivulus Punctatus was imported to Mexico
from only one a dealer so they are not too many of
them so please help me out with the info on this fish
as quick as you can. How do you know whoses male and
female ? Are they dificult to mantain and breed ? What
is your experiance with it ?
  Any help will be thanked.............:-)
