hard water killies?

I was hoping to get some more excellent advise from the list.  I finally set
up some racks and am now ready to start getting some fish to populate them.
I already have some natives and some S. zonatus.  What I need advise on is
what are some hardy, attractive, fairly easy to raise, and readily available
hard water killies.  I live in Florida and rather than constantly battle the
liquid rock down here, decided to go this route.  The fish room's temp is
also in the high 70's to low 80's for the warm season (Feb thru Nov) and
cooler during the lengthy winter season.  Any suggestions?
