        Hi.  I don't know why your corks are so expensive!  I get then at a
local hardware store for 9 cents each!  I don't know if big places like Home
Depot even sell corks, but regular hardware stores (if you have any left in
your area), or even many, craft stores sell corks.  They do not have to be
very big as they only need to hold up a mop.  I find very small ones do the
job beautifully.
