weird white worms...
We have small native bristle worms in Wisconsin of the niad family. They
are often found in rich stagnant water (like farm ponds) that are covered
with vegetation. I had limited success culturing them in gallon jars with
a heavy layer of duckweed on top placed in a west facing window. They
reproduced like crazy for awhile and then all died suddenly. Some fish ate
them readily (diapterons, and Fp species) others did not seem to like them
much.
