RE: Indiscriminate use of antibiotics (long rant. Sorry!)

Hi all,

I read an article on this a couple of weeks ago and been trying to find it I
can't remember whether it was on the Internet or in a mag but I write down
some things that I was going to ask my Vet about but some of you might be
able to help.

1. Fish do not absorb the antibiotics very well if they are just pored in
the water.

2. If you use antibiotics from your LFS double the dose and use them a week
longer than recommended.

3. The only way to be sure that the required amount of antibiotics are
correctly administered is by a daily injections.

4. With resistant strains of bacteria all fish breeders should have access
to microscope, slides, hot loop(don't understand?)and scalpel.
