Well, the indiscriminate use of antibiotics is probably the most serious
issue we face as fish keepers. That, environmental destruction caused by
collecting (small or none for killies), and introductions are the only
things that hobbyists do that can really negatively impact the world.
Using antibiotics rather than fixing the cause is the only one that is
likely to end up killing someone. Before you use that maracyn, consider
whether it's worth potentially contributing to someone's unpleasant death.
