Cork for Mops

Craft stores - they also have small round and different shapes of styro
balls.
Ace hardware (wine bottle corks are roughly 20 cents).
Wine and beer making stores.
Mail order fishing tackle stores - used for making fish lures.
Also look at the dough nut shapes for making fishing rod handles. These are
particularly easy to attach to the mop. Either stick the top of the mop
through the hole and wedge it, or a very easy tie since the cork has a hole
in it.
