Please do not use antibiotics for something as trivial as algae! Try PolyOx
by Kent Marine. I had great luck with that. Also, increase the flow rate of
water in the areas that seem to be the worst. I have never had this fail to
work for me. Antibiotics should never be used unless prescribed to treat a
bacteria that is definitely id'd and found to be sensitive to the antibiotic
to be used.
