Neal, I am selling wild caught daphnia out of my pond.  It has a bunch of bugs in it and maybe some hydra.  There is a large daphnia and a small daphnia.  Cost is $5 plus $5 shipping.  See if you can get some at LFS or other sources.  If not contact me   bmeyer at parkland_cc.il.us   

also have eggs of about 10 species of killies available and I should have some pairs coming up soon....bob

The l.f.s. website seems to have disappeared. Where are people getting
their live Daphnia starter cultures these days? Interested in D. pulex,
especially.
