USPS box delivery info

Hi all--

wanted to give you this info on a box I mailed recently.

Sent from: Mount Vernon, Ohio
Date Mailed: 8/24/00 at approx. 10 AM
Postage class: priority
Sent to: Tampa, FL
Date Received: 8/16/00 in the afternoon

Box size and composition: cardboard box approximately 12x12x14 with
styrofoam box nested inside. Walls on styro were approximately 1" thick
including top.

Items sent: Java moss (1 bag), hygrophila (1 bag), 1 4 oz can of flake
food, 1 dozen gold GAR eggs (eyed up).

Condition upon receipt: good. Some eggs had hatched enroute and one of
the resulting fry had died. The rest of the eggs seem to be hatching
normally, with 2 additional fry fatalities. Plants and food arrived
without damage.

Hope this helps. I was impressed by how fast the USPS got the box there
(and let my local PO know how much I appreciated the fast service, BTW).
I will have additional data on other shipments over the next few weeks.
