Re: New to group.-- with seahorses



Seahorses are very difficult to raise so you are doing something right. 
Killies should be much simpler. Check out the Beginners Guide on the AKA 
homepage to give you some idea of what is involved. A number of salt water 
killies are immediately available to you such as Cyprinodon variegatus, 
Fundulus grandis/ heteroclitus and Floridichthys carpio to name a few. These 
are easily collected, especially by means of a seine. In what part of SC are 
you residing?

Many killies are listed for sale online, both private lists and the Fish and 
Egg listing of the AKA.  The best initial move, however, is to find a buddy 
nearby to demonstrate and guide your efforts, Alisa. It is a great hobby.
