the value of eppendorf test tubes

Hi all

In an experiment to find the best possible way to send non annual 
eggs by post with out struglling with peat I started playing with 
eppendorf test tubes (commonly refferred to scientific circles as 
eppies).
3 weeks ago I put some GAR eggs into a 2ml eppi (1 egg per eppi) 
and yesterday got my first fry. The eppies were 1/4 filled.
This method seems to work well and would be a good alternative to 
posting an entire collection of eggs in one vial were one bad egg 
can ruin the batch. 
Best of all eppies are farily cheat at only 40c (SAR) each.
