AUS anomaly

Hi all

Firstly, one of my old female AUS is getting colour and developing 
the classic fin extenstions. She/he must be over a year old by now.
I never got eggs from her in any case but I am curious whether this 
type of late blooming is common.

Secondly, my trio of chocolate AUS is producing v.small eggs. 
Much smaller than the normal size eggs. COuld this be due to lack 
of spawning? I have only set them up to spawn now while my other 
group produces huge eggs and go at it like rabbits.

Any thoughts???
