I'm back
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am back in town. I am trying to wade through about 500 emails that piled up while I was gone.
First of all thanks to the BNL compiling staff. This is the earliest I have received my BNL in quite a while. I know that an extra effort was made and I want to say thanks
Second, I mailed a bunch of packages last Friday before I left. It looks like some of these have got lost in the mail. They apparently ended up in Tennessee and were remailed from there. Tennessee is about 300 miles from here. If anyone has not got there package, please drop me an email.
Third, I had a great trip. I went down to Alabama and the gulf coast of Florida. ( Never leave home without your roster). I didn't get a chance to do much collecting, but I did get a chance to do some sightseeing. Alabama is a lot prettier than I remember it!! I also learned how fair my skin was when after two hours in the ocean I got a great sunburn. My kids are calling me lobster or Tomato.
Before I left I did 50% water changes and fed heavily with baby brine and whiteworms. After being gone 6 days there was only one loss ( a jumper). The tanks look clear and everyone is happy. Some killies even laid eggs while I was gone and didn't eat them!! I heard that the fishroom hit 90 while I was gone and I was pleasantly surprised at the resiliancy of the killies!
