Hi,

        This pushnet sounds like a fascinating idea.  If you do get info
from somebody, please post the design here so we can all benefit.  I have
experienced all of the frustrations you described, especially when
collecting solo.  There are some local species here in Palm Beach County
Florida, like Fundulus seminolus, that are just about impossible to catch
without a very long two-person seine net.  And, my partner now lives accross
the state.  This pushnet might make the difference.
