Hello All,

        Congrats to Doug on his apparently successful cure of his popeye
infection!  I also have a success story with the completely different method
described before in this thread.  I had a very fast infection wipe out my
Simpsonichthys fulminantis and then hit my Aphyosemion striatum tank.  I
used heavy salt, Quick Cure (malachite green and formalin), and both Maracyn
One and Two.  My striatums have recovered completely, and are back to
spawning!  I have never before had a fish survive popeye, and this was the
fastest infection I had experienced.  I am very pleased with my results.
Thanks to all who gave advice on the matter.  Popeye can be a scary
infection!!!
