August ARK Meeting
Arizina Rivulin Keepers will be gathering on Saturday, August 12, at the
Round Table Pizza (northwest corner of Ray and Rural Roads) in south Tempe
(check our website at http://ARK.killi.net for a map and directions).
Arrive at about 6:30 PM for a half hour of time to socialize and eat pizza.
The program will start at about 7 PM.
This month, the program will feature Jeff Krueger, a representative from
Marineland Labs. Jeff will talk about filtration, filter materials, and the
history of his company. Jeff has also promised to bring some exciting
raffle prizes, inlcuding an Eclipse 6 System.
We will also have a special guest. Ken Lazara from New York has indicated
that he will be visiting the Phoenix area and plans to attend. Ken is
compiling the update to the "Killifish Master Index" and will be displaying
some samples of the rough drafts.
Our monthly Bowl Show will feature Mesoaphyosemions (such as australe,
celiae, striatum, etc.). Each entry will be provided with a free raffle
ticket.
The monthly auction will be our usual 70/30 split with 70% of the sales
price going to the seller. Besides killies, other small aquarium fish,
aquatic plants, and live food cultures are welcome.
All ARK meetings are free and the public is welcome.
