BOUNCE killietalk at aka_org: Message too long (>40000 chars)

List Mum's note: I had to edit this message because it was in MIME format
AND quoted an entire killietalk-digest. Therefore it was too long and
bounced. That is unnecessary work for me. Please, please, please heed the
request that you do not use MIME formatting when posting to killietalk and
do NOT quote the entire digest. - Barry

Hi all:
About the fish caught in the wild enviroment, not only the experience or
knowlegde
permit the identification-in the case of new strain-or new species. In my case
with a lot experience,I read a lot about our Cynolebias, and compare our
knowledge,discuss,etc with other fellows.Normally-in my case-I use a
GPS,and a map
to identify the exact place and with a very few wrongs. One year ago we
caught in
the wild a new strain of Cy.Belloti.(in Lake of Ducks, now dry!!!),and
previously to sending in changes with some friend around the world,I test the
difference with other Bellotis.
Of course I preserve some to study carefully, with a friend who is Icthiology.
My good and best friend Bill Shenefelt ,took some photos from this
strain,and if
you touch
in contact with him,you can note the difference, not only in the
size,colour,etc.
But here in South America,we have another big problem.
We receive the names from our wild fishes, when a group of learned
knowleaged around
the
table,in a confortable atmosphera take a decision for us.Never I was the
oportunity

to encounter any European or North American explorer in our ponds. And I collect
my own fishes from the wild more than 48 years!!! And I was start in Perù
as a kid
(maybe 7 years ),when I born and I live now Argentina more than 30 years.
But they says:Cynolebias it's now ASTROLEBIAS,and it's inmediately!The new
name!!!
In my case, and in the case of other fanciers here, they are honest and serious,
Probably in a very few weeks we start with The South American Annuals Circle,
to put in black and white-and very clear-our position.Trough the web in
cooperation
with fanciers from Uruguay,Brasil;Peru.and with a very strong scientific
support
behind.
In the case if you need some eggs, don't hesitate to send me a e-mail ,and
I will send as soon free of charge.
Receive my best regards, and thank you very much for your interest in our
Cynolebias.
