Nope, it is still so labeled on a case of 1000 I bought less than a year ago.
I know the smaller bags in K–mart have no such designation. I heard the other
day the price of a case has gone up to about $70 from the $56 I paid. The
Fluval type fibers are used by me as a refuge for the females that doesn't
get removed except to shake out the females and eggs and then it is put back
after collecting the eggs out of the bottom finer peat articles.
