Also what about the downside of feeding black worms ? Looking for pros
and cons on this one...

Good food, feed every third day or less, rinse worms often and change your
tank water more often than you normally would (rich food).  If worms die in
tank without being eaten, that can spell disaster - remove dead worms
immediately and do major water change.  Keep worms out of peat because they
can cause you problems with your eggs.  I use them successfully.
