Any poly fish bag under 2 mils is quite breathable (despite Kordon hype).
Don't use 7 mil freezer bags, as the "freezer burn" they prevent is from
oxygen diffusion. I've also killed eggs by sealing them in plastic Petrie
dishes with vinyl electrical tape. Works OK for 2-week-gestation Fp. and
Aphyos, but not for real annuals.
Decaying food, dead snails and live Java moss strands can eat up oxygen in
the dark, so eliminate those as much as possible, too.
