You're not the only one that was slow to catch on to this--took me a
while too. I now almost always buy two pairs (or trios) if I can afford
it. There's nothing more frustrating than losing one fish of a pair and
not having a replacement to breed with--I call the second pair
"insurance" when someone asks why I bought them (grin).
