Well,an interesting take on a very large debate. He does go off on a few
major tangents that aren't particularly pertinent or fruitful, but it is
interesting. However, I think it is very interesting that he draws such a
sharp distinction between humans as rational and other animals as not being
rational. It seems reasonable that rights regulate the interaction between
an individual and others, but not clear why non-human animals aren't/can't
be included in "others." But then I'm not a big fan of Ayn Rand's.
Rationality is vastly overrated in my book. But we could go off on this
for days, I think!
