Re: Sick fish

Sandy,
I have had this happen off and on for the last 15 years. I've had it with
Aphyosemion, Fundulopanchax, Nothobrancius, and Cynolebias (or whatever
they're calling them know). Haven't saved a one yet. I've seen this with all
ages of adults, never in juviniles. I've tried salt and just about every
medication imaginable. Now that I think about it, I can't remember it ever
being a male with this problem, always the females. The good news is that I've
never had it pass on to any other fish in the tanks.
Sorry that I couldn't give you any positive help but thought I'd pass on my
experiences. Good luck.
Joe in St. Louis
