The cool thing about them is the active carbon cartridges can be carefully
opened and reused. I opened mine and refill it every 1 to 2 months with
Ammo-Carb. It is held closed with a very clean/sterillized rubber band. This
method is easy to do and very cost efficient. I also agree with Roberto about
