Re: Duetto Filters

I use the DJ-50. It runs a 5 gal. with no problem. The up-keep is easy and it has adjustable flow rates. There would be some concern if used in a tank with babies. They create great current and this model draws air through an out take tube and mixes it with the water creating a rich supply of oxygen for your fish. They are intended for turtle tanks and other smaller tanks. They can be placed into many different places. You can arrange the suction cups along with rotating the nozzle to direct the water stream. I think they are a great filter but only under certain circumstances. Since they are power heads you can also use them with UV sterilizers and Fluidized beds. Again I use one but only in 1 tank. If you are looking to buy one, check out the Pet Warehouse and click Gill's Grotto. This site has great prices and awesome shipping and handling rates. If the link doesn't work just type www.petwhse.com and have fun. Hope this helped in your decision.

Does anyone here use or endorse the use of Italian made compact Duetto
self contained filter pump assemblies? I would like to know what types
of experiences people have had with them. They look like something that
should keep a tank clean and be easy to service as well.
Thanks..
