Referals

It would be nice if the AKA could have a space on the membership application that said referred by:


Then for every person who joined the AKA the person who referred him could get something. Maybe $1.  This money could accumulate in an account and be distributed once a year to life members or deducted from the dues of renewing members.

It would  mean more work for  the membership committee.  But, it makes the AKA more financially attractive to renewing members.  Gives an incentive to bring in new members.  By following the referals, membership committee could get an idea of how new members hear about the AKA


This plan would cost the AKA some money, but it would be made up in the savings from having a larger membership.
