Re: Pablum? or What do *you* feed your worms? -- baby food
I agree with you Harry,
I use Pablum Rice cereal (we still have it
in Québec Wright,it's a Canadian company ) for microworms and I add 1 or 2
drops of Poly Vi sol (multi vitamins supplement ).I tried too instant
potatoes flakes not too bad.I use Pablum for Grindal's worms too, you spread
a little bit on the top and in a night all is gone. For white worms,I prepare
Fleischmann's traditional dry yeast in water and I pour it on whole wheat
bread slice that I cut in four parts.I cover all the top of my culture in
styrofoam box and the day after I have enough for my 50 tanks.I have so much
sometime they climb at the top all I have to do it's to pick them up all
around the cover, place them in water and feed, the extra go back in the
box.I have flies in the box but I don't care about.I red somewhere that
Iguana's food it's supposed to be good for Grindal may be that could be good
for daphnae because it's high in protein .I think ,I'm not sure, that if we
give to the daphnae hemoglobine it's a good supplement too.Somebody can
bring more details about it?
