Hello Gregory,
The first killies I set up for breeding was a pair of
Aus. I boiled the mop and soaked it several times ,to
remove the excess dye . Next morning the water was
slightly colored and the fish were dead.
I repeated the whole procedure ,and tested the mop
,and water with a cull, and all went well.
So I would allways test new mops before putting in
your prize fish, and thats my 1/2 cents worth.
