I don't know where you are but here in Missouri we have had some really nasty
mosquitos the last few years, ever since the floods of '93 and '95. I like to
call them mutant mosquitos. They are huge, black hairy things that don't take
no for an answer. If you swat them they just get up and fly away, instead of
being squished like a normal mosquito. But believe me, these puppies bite. I
don't know about the larvae.
