Re: How do I get peat to sink?
Yup, they're from Hagen, made for the Fluval line of filters. I found that
two boxes of ~8 dry oz. would fill the bottom (had I prepared the stuff
right) of a 2.5 gal. aquarium. Plus, it's been most useful as a water
softener when I put it in one of my girlfriend's old nylons and stuffed it
in one of my box filters. I found it less messy than the Jiffy pellets.
