I am just a lurker and beginner, but my two cents on your Notho's not 
producing eggs.  My tanks are in the basement.  temps in the mid to upper 
60's F year round.  I only have foerschi, however they spawn at these temps.

Have your Notho's spawned in the past.  How old are they? What do you feed.  
You may notice that seperating the males and females from one another for a 
week will cause alot of activity when reintroduced.
Neither fish should have any problems spawning at 74 degrees in my limited 
experience
