Genetically, it sounds like a good idea.  Better than just spawning one pair.  If you want to increase fry output,  rotate the females through faster, as they will be bred out in a couple of days.  The main drawback with your program is that if one female is carrying a defect, it will be passed on to the fry and how will you trace it to the mother.  Be real selective and only breed the best females.  If  you want to introduce new blood, try trading a pair with someone.  But I don't think you need to be in any hurry doing this.  Good luck...bob
