cloudy water

Hi Boat--

Sounds like a bacteria bloom or (if you are using gravel) like the
gravel was not washed. In any case, do a partial water change (vacuum
the gravel if you have any in the tank), reduce the amount you are
feeding, increase filtration or add plants (depending on your setup and
preferences). It's not uncommon in new tanks, BTW, probably everybody on
this list has had it at one time or another. Sort of a rite of passage
for new hobbyists, I guess.
